Hearts have confirmed that they have sold-out their allocation for the Edinburgh derby.

Daniel Stendel’s men travel to Easter Road on Tuesday deep in a relegation battle and in need of three points with the side bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership.

They will be backed by a full away end.

Hibs, who reached the semi-final of the Scottish Cup on Friday night with a 5-2 win over Inverness CT, are currently chasing a European spot after an upturn in form under Jack Ross.

While Hearts have won just once in 14 league games, the Leith side have lost just once since coming back from the winter break.

The last time the sides met at Easter Road it was the visitors who came from behind to claim all three points, one of just three league wins all season for the Gorgie side.

The game, however, won’t go ahead if Hearts’ Scottish Cup quarter-final with Rangers this evening (5.30pm kick-off) ends in a draw.

As the Evening News revealed on Friday, the replay takes priority over the league fixture due to the Ibrox club’s Europa League involvement.
