The Tynecastle boss was absent for Saturday's win over Linlithgow Rose at Prestonfield due to a Covid-19 issue at the club which saw the cancellation of Friday’s planned fixture with Berwick Rangers.

Hearts ran out 6-0 win over the East of Scotland opposition at the weekend with a double from Liam Boyce, plus goals from Michael Smith, Armand Gnanduillet, Mackenzie Kirk and Finlay Pollock.

Two games behind closed doors have been arranged for later in the week. On Friday, Hearts will face Ayr United before a clash with Falkirk on Saturday.

The club have confirmed both games will be played outside of Edinburgh.
