Hearts have completed the signing of Danish winger Danny Amankwaa on a free transfer from FC Copenhagen.
The 23-year-old passed a medical today and signed an 18-month contract to become the third new arrival at Tynecastle this month. He could make his debut on Saturday against Motherwell.
After the loan captures of Demetri Mitchell and Steven Naismith from Manchester United and Norwich City respectively, Amankwaa joins in a permanent deal.
His contract at Copenhagen was due to expire at the end of the season but they allowed him to leave without a fee to restart his career in Scotland.
"I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to play in front of these amazing fans that I’ve heard so much about," the Denmark Under-21 internationalist told the Hearts website.
"I would say I’m quite fast and skillful. I am fit and ready to play so hopefully the fans will quickly see what type of player I am. I’m an offensive player so hopefully I can contribute with assists and some goals as well."
