Here’s some of the latest Hearts transfer news items.

Hearts could be set for a busy end to the summer transfer window as it prepares to shut in England.

Clubs down south have until 11pm on Tuesday to complete incomings but those in the Premiership have 5pm this Thursday set as their deadline day. Head coach Wouter Vrancken also has the small matter of his first Edinburgh derby away at Hibs to consider that evening during a frantic week that ends with Dundee at home.

There are some targets for incomings on the Jambos radar while a European rival in the league phase of the Conference League look set to lose one star to Everton. Here are some of the latest transfer headlines with Hearts flavourings.

Claudio Braga on possible Hearts transfer exit

Fan favourite Claudio Braga has provided his stance on being a Hearts player beyond deadline day. The Portuguese striker has attracted interest amid a standout first term up front in Gorgie where he won multiple Player of the Year awards. Braga, who made an appearance on the Premier Sports Social Club on Monday night, insists any deal must work both for him personally and for Hearts.

He said: "It's a lot of talk and a hard time, in a way, but for a good reason also, so I could never be ungrateful for that. At the same time I think, and I've said it and will say it 1000 times, if something happens it will be good for me and good for Hearts. I could never go if it was only good for me. Or only good for Hearts. I feel like we are on the same page me and the board and, yeah. I don't know nothing until now, I have no idea what is going to happen, so I can promise nothing. I don't like to promise and then if something happens I shall feel bad.

“But I love my time at Hearts, I am so grateful that I play here and have been welcomed the way I was. I love that I'm here. If anything happens I will hopefully help Hearts, also. Football is like that. A lot of people ask me and to be honest I really don't know, so it's hard to answer. And I could never answer even if I knew, but I don't. So it's just, if something good for Hearts and for me appears then, of course, every player has ambitions. Every player likes to play at the top level possible. But at the same time I would only do that if it was good for me and for Hearts."
