Hearts v Alloa will not be shown live on TV - but game remains on
Hearts’ Championship fixture with Alloa Athletic at Tynecastle Park this evening will no longer be shown on the BBC Scotland television channel.
The BBC have changed their scheduling following the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The game, chosen for live coverage, had been moved from Saturday to the Friday night with the programme starting at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm kick-off.
It has been replaced with a ‘BBC News special’ with “continued coverage from BBC News following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh”.
Fans can, however, still watch the match on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Scotland website.
Alternatively, season ticket holders and international subscribers can watch on Hearts TV with coverage beginning at 7pm.
Hearts and Hibs both paid tribute to Prince Philip, who died “peacefully” at Windsor Castle this morning aged 99, via Twitter.
