Hearts and Hibs will meet in the Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden Park on April 11.

The Capital rivals, who met on league duty earlier this week with Daniel Stendel’s side running out convincing 3-1 winners at Easter Road, face off at the national stadium in Glasgow.

The match has been fixed for a 12.15pm kick-off, and will be shown live on Premier Sports and BBC Scotland.

Fans of both clubs had voted overwhelmingly in favour of the tie being held at BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh, but the game will go ahead at Hampden as expected.

Hearts and Hibs last met in the last four of the Scottish Cup in 2006, with Paul Hartley starring as the Tynecastle side recorded a 4-0 victory en route to winning the cup on penalties over Gretna.

In the other semi-final, Aberdeen play Celtic on April 12, with a 3pm start. That encounter will be screened live on Premier Sports.
