Hearts wait on Josh Ginnelly for Alloa tie but another winger is out injured
The Englishman is back running after a thigh injury and hopes to be involved. However, fellow winger Elliott Frear is already ruled out due to a hamstring problem.
Frear missed Tuesday night’s league win over Alloa and will now sit out Saturday’s cup match at the Indodrill Stadium.

Manager Robbie Neilson is confident midfielder Peter Haring will be available despite taking a knock on Tuesday.
“Peter should be fine but Frear will be out. He has a wee hamstring problem,” Neilson told the Evening News. “Ginnelly is back running so we will just need to see where he is and whether he’s ready or not.
“You start at a low pace and then build it up. We will see how he is over the next day or two.”
