Hide AdRegarded in some quarters as a must-win, there was an expectation that Hearts would give their survival credentials a huge boost with a confident victory over Accies who had a number of injury issues to contend with.

The bookies, however, still have Saturday’s opponents Hamilton as odds-on favourite to finish bottom at 4/6.
Hearts are considered joint-second favourites at 3/1 with St Mirren. The Jam Tarts travel to face the Buddies on Friday night in another important relegation encounter.
