Hearts winger Jordan Roberts seals shock Premiership loan switch

Motherwell have added to their attacking options with the loan signing of Jordan Roberts from Hearts.

The winger only arrived at Tynecastle in the summer of 2020 from Ipswich but has been in and out of the team with his last league appearance coming in the 3-1 win away to Alloa on January 16.

A statement from Hearts read: “Jordan Roberts has completed a loan move to Motherwell. The 27-year-old makes the switch to Fir Park for the remainder of the season.

“A summer 2020 arrival at Tynecastle, the winger has featured 11 times for the Jambos this season. He now heads to the Steelmen, who currently sit 10th in the Premiership.”

He has registered one assist, in the opening-day 6-2 win against Dundee.

The Steelmen have been busy in this window, bringing in Harry Smith on loan from Northampton Town, and signing Sam Foley from St Mirren, Robbie Crawford from Livingston, and Steven Lawless from Burton Albion.
