There’s been a little bit of movement but in trading terms, there’s been little concrete to keep track of.

Ross County have made a move this afternoon, Livingston let Lars Lokosch return to Germany and in the Championship Hearts have secured an extension for one of their loan players, but there has not been much money changing hands or big-name links as in recent years.

Celtic’s Dubai trip fall-out kept the usual transfer speculation off the backpages for much of the week and while Rangers’ business is known – with their interest in Scott Wright of Aberdeen now in the public domain – it’s still been a trickle of transfers rather than a depth of deals for fans to monitor.

Hibs’ early business this month has Jack Ross’ side in a good place ahead of tomorrow’s Betfred Cup semi-final and with that in mind it is a big weekend of football with Rangers capable of extending their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to 23 points and the first finalists of the season to be decided in the weekend’s two matches at Hampden.

There’s a full card of SPFL Championship fixtures too, beginning tonight at Arbroath’s Gayfield when Dundee make the short trip to Dick Campbell’s men.

In the meantime, here’s how the Friday evening football scene is shaping up in our liveblog.
