Hearts emerged victorious from the latest Edinburgh derby by downing Hibs 3-1.
James Wilson opened the scoring for the Jambos after an atmospheric start in front of a packed stadium at Easter Road. Laurent Mendy grabbed their second but was dispossessed at the start of the second half and punished by Adam Mayor’s first goal since moving to Leith. Hibs were growing in the game before Jack Iredale’s red card and Josh McPake’s low strike put the tin lid on proceedings.
Fans of both sides turned out in their numbers as the latest clash between age-old rivals delivered plenty of memorable pictures. Here are the best photos from the game including fan snaps, action shots and more from the Premiership proceedings.
