A place in the third round of the Scottish Cup was at stake. However, it is the Highland League team who will face Stranraer despite their mammoth 28/1 pre-match odds.
Hearts, the Championship league leaders, were embarrassing, going 1-0 behind early in the first half. They struggled to an equaliser through Christophe Berra but were level for minutes before the home side earned a deserved win.
The fall-out from the match will likely last many days and perhaps weeks with fans understandably upset.

Had little chance with the first Brora goal but did not cover himself in glory for the second, failing to get the necessary purchase on the cross allowing McLean to fire into the roof of the net.. Photo: Bill Murray - SNS Group

Part of a dysfunctional defence, played out of position at right-back, not overly refined with the ball. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

A difficult watch seeing the Austrian drop to such a level of performance. Really slack with the ball, unsure with his movements which led to some uncomfortable situations. Photo: Paul Devlin - SNS Group
