Robbie Neilson’s side trailed for a long period to Ayo Obileye' s spot kick which was disputed following a coming together between Stephen Kingsley and Isiah Jones.
After a bright start, Hearts struggle to assert their authorirty and quality with a number of players having an off day throughout the team. Queen of the South goalkeeper Rohan Ferguson was rarely tested despite the amount of ball the league leaders had.
The point does extend Hearts' lead at the top of the Championship to 13 points.
So, how did the 14 Hearts players fare out of ten?

A really messy performance. Usual moments with the ball but was making poor decisions when getting close to opposition forwards. Should have dealt better with a ball in the box in the first half which led to a Queens chance. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group

After a fine performance last week, offered little. Didn't provide any vertical runs beyond Boyce and wasn't influential with the ball. Photo: Mark Scates - SNS Group

Didn't see much of the ball early on before taking some control and moving the ball forward. Evening was ultimately summed up by a cynical challenge on Isiah Jones, however, before being hooked. Photo: Paul Devlin - SNS Group

Nothing went right, aside from a one-two with Jamie Walker in the first half. Played erratic passes, couldn't get the better of veteran winger-turned-full-back Wullie Gibson. At one pint Michael Smith rolled a pass towards him and it just continued past him and out of play. Photo: Bruce White - SNS Group
