What have Hearts and Hibs said ahead of Edinburgh derby
Head coach Wouter Vrancken said of Hearts’ draw with Rangers ahead of this one: “We've lost two points. We deserved to win. We played a really good first half, made a little mistake and it cost us. After that we made up for it with the performance. For me it was never a foul in the lead-up to the Rangers equaliser. I don't know why he blows the whistle. This team keeps believing, when you see the situation we are in. We have extra games, one day less recovery, all those things matter. When you see them battle and fight for each other, that's the pleasure I have as a coach.
Reedijk added on Hibs’ draw at St Mirren: "I think we should have three points. There is a pride in how the guys fought for the club, for each other, for every metre on the pitch. You build a house on the foundation and I think we've built the foundation properly to eventually paint the windows."
