Hearts are looking to sign Liam Lindsay on loan during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The Scottish centre-back moved to Stoke City in the summer in a move reportedly worth around £2.5 million.

However, it is believed new Stoke boss Michael O'Neill is looking to shake up his squad in January and this could see Lindsay forced to the fringes of the squad.

The 24-year-old has made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Potters since signing from Barnsley.
