Lewis Moore set for talks on his Hearts future ahead of possible January move

Hearts will hold talks with out-of-favour winger Lewis Moore in the next few days to determine whether he will leave the club in January.

The 22-year-old has been unable to command a regular place in the team since Robbie Neilson returned to Tynecastle Park as manager and is frustrated at a lack of game time.

He signed a two-year contract extension in June this year but his only competitive appearance since then came against Raith Rovers in Hearts’ 3-1 Betfred Cup win in October.

The Edinburgh club will help Moore secure a loan move during the January transfer window if he wants to play more regularly.

“Moorey has found it difficult,” Robbie Neilson, the Hearts manager told the Evening News. “We've brought players in so we will have a chat with him in the next week. We will see what he thinks about things and what options there are for him.”

Moore has previously spent time on loan at Cowdenbeath, Forfar Athletic and Forfar.
