“I’m very happy to be here," he told HeartsTV.” I'm ready to start. It's a very, very big club with a very nice history.
"Of course, a lot of Dutch players played here, Mark de Vries, [Genero] Zeefuik. It's a good history for Dutch people here and I want it to continue.
“It's a big club and no one will say no to Hearts.”
Kastaneer only made 18 appearances for Coventry after joining from NAC Breda in 2019 but most of his experience comes from playing in the Dutch top-flight, while he also had a stint in the German second tier with giants Kaiserslautern.

"I believe I'm very strong, have a good dribble, can make assists and go and make goals,” Kastaneer said.
"I love to attack first and foremost. I think I am a player you want to see, I’m not scared to challenge defenders.”
He added: “I’m ready, I want to go. I’m hungry to play.”
