The 25/26 Premiership season fallout continues to rumble but predictions for next term when it comes to Hearts and Hibs are already being cast.
It was a painful end to a brilliant season for Derek McInnes’ Jambos as they finished second in losing the league title on the final day to eventual champions Celtic. Hibs meanwhile finished fifth but with only a point less than their third place triumph of last year as head coach David Gray brings stability to Leith.
Both will play European qualifiers this summer, Hearts in the Champions League and Hibs in the Conference League, as league sponsors William Hill go early with who they think will finish where in the 26/27 season. The winner of the play-off between St Mirren and Partick Thistle will complete the 12-team line-up and here’s where the Edinburgh clubs are predicted to be sitting come next May.
