Here’s a selection of comments from Twitter following the 3-2 victory:

Gary Milligen (@GaryMilligen): Two words. Not good enough.

Johnny Bananas MD (@scottstevenson_) Anyone getting genuinely angry needs to have a word with themselves. A reserve team in a meaningless match. And we won ffs.

Brian Douglas (@brianfdouglas): Strength in depth?....decidedly not! If we have any Championship games while the real players are on International duties or injured (like tonight) we’ll get battered. We got two goals of a start, then they ‘win’ 2-1 in the following 90+ minutes. Poor, Robbie, really poor!

Seonaidh (@MacNaBracha): That was awful Too many underperformers. Some should be nowhere near the first team if they can't cut it against East Fife.

RGT (@Paphos_16): Don’t think anyone in that team tonight even remotely played their way into Robbie’s starting 11. Very poor all round. A win is a win though but not much more to be said than that.

Danny Cowe (@cowe_danny): That was brutal. Highlight was the bloke behind the goal in the orange jacket who’d brought his own ladder to watch the game. Good man

Fabio Marra (@theitalianjambo): Nice result but the performance was absolutely awful. Hopefully it's just a bad night at the office but without a few key men we looked a totally different, and worse, team.

LiamMcKechnie (@LiamGMck): Will take it folks, East Fife gave us a more of a game than they should, ropey at the back at times BUT.. 8 wins out of 8, and qualifying top of the group in the Betfred with 12/13 points. Happy Days gang
