The results required for Hearts to win the Championship this weekend

Robbie Neilson’s men face Alloa Athletic at Tynecastle on Friday night in front of the BBC Scotland cameras.

Ending their three-game winless run will put them 14 points clear at the top of the league with three games remaining.

However, closest challengers Raith Rovers and Dundee will have two games in hand, meaning they could both still win the league by a point.

For Hearts to be crowned champions both teams would be required to drop points. Raith host Arbroath, while Dundee welcome Greenock Morton to Dens Park.

In turn, the Kirkcaldy side could close the gap to five points before Hearts face Morton a week on Tuesday as they are set to play three times over the next week. It could be as low as two or three if the Tynecastle side lose or draw with Alloa.
