Jamie Walker and Conor Washington have both been linked with moves away from Hearts on transfer deadline day.

The Daily Record are reporting that former Hearts boss Robbie Neilson has an interest in taking Walker to Dundee United.

The Tannadice club have a seemingly unassailable lead at the top of the Scottish Championship as they look set to return to the top flight for next season.

Stoke City, meanwhile, have been credited with an interest in Washington.

Manager Michael O'Neill has been chasing United's Lawrence Shankland and Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove, but has been told by both clubs that the players are not for sale.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, he has now turned his attention to Washington. The former Peterborough hitman routinely plays under O'Neill at international level.

The attacking pair signed for the Tynecastle club under former manager Craig Levein in the summer.

Walker has made 16 appearances with three goals. Washington has played 14 times, scoring twice.
