Paterson netted the second in a vital victory which keeps the Bluebirds in Championship play-off contention.

Ex-Falkirk midfielder Will Vaulks opened the scoring and produced an acrobatic celebration, performing a cartwheel and backflip.

While he was doing so, Paterson bizarrely jumps in the air while holding his knees as if he is about to perform a bomb in the swimming pool.

Better was to follow when he the former Hearts right-back ran through on goal and secured the win with a confident finish.

The 25-year-old then parodied Vaulks celebration by performing a comical mini cartwheel and then a tumble on the ground.

The Scotland international is recognised as a forward now and has scored seven goals this campaign.

Recently he hit the headlines with an on-field dust-up with team-mate Leandro Bacuna.
