The 25-year-old equalised early in the first half with a wonderful solo goal.

Hide AdPicking up the ball in his own half, he embarked on a voyage which took him 50 yards up the park, away from three players and a desperate attempt at a foul before he zipped a left-footed strike into the bottom corner before he was closed down too tightly with a number of opponents backing off.
Nicholson sealed the win with his second of the game and fifth of the season for the Pirates with a header free in the six-yard box.
The winger was a transfer target for Robbie Neilson in the summer but he opted for a move to England from MLS rather than a return to Tynecastle.
