When fans were allowed in: The Hearts team to beat Hibs a year ago today

The last year has been a strange one for Scottish football and for Hearts.

The Tynecastle club are playing in a different division with a new manager, a number of new players and no fans as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic continues to be felt.

Twelve months ago to this day, the team appeared to be giving themselves a major shot in the arm in their bid to get out of the relegation battle, defeating Hibs at Easter Road 3-1. It was one of the team’s performances of the season as Daniel Stendel’s men scored three second half goals through Sean Clare, Oliver Bozanic and Conor Washingston to land the three points.

Few in the sold out away end could have envisaged what was set to unfold in the following two games before the season was ended due to covid.

We look back at the team who played that evening and where they are now.
