The process to elect two fan representatives to the Hibs board early in the new year got under way this week after the club invited supporters to submit nominations over the next fortnight.

The two-year stints of current supporter reps Frank Dougan and Amit Moudgil – both non-executive directors – are due to end in February 2017, although both men are eligible to stand for re-election.

The role, in Hibs’ words, is “essentially to provide a creative contribution to the board through objective criticism” and involves attending board meetings, supporters club meetings, gauging supporter opinion and providing expertise to the board based on their particular skill set.

Supporters have until Wednesday, November 30 at 5pm to nominate themselves or someone else either online, in person at the West Stand reception or by mailing the club.

Full details of the role and the nomination procedure can be found on the Hibs website.
