Hibs' Jordon Forster completes Plymouth loan move

Hibs defender Jordon Forster today completed a loan move to English League Two side Plymouth Argyle and could be pitched into an immediate debut in tonight's top-of-the-table clash with second-placed Northampton Town.

Former Hibs assistant manager Derek Adams, now boss at Home Park, had been keen to sign the 22-year-old but an injury to Easter Road skipper David Gray delayed the move.

With Gray ruled out of Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Raith Rovers, Forster was on the bench as cover at Stark’s Park but travelled south the following day.

And Forster, who has been offered an extended contract by the Capital club, has now signed for Plymouth until the end of the season.

And, if the necessary red tape can be cleared in time, Adams could be tempted to thrust him into action straight away.
