Hibs Scottish Cup victory parade route on Sunday
Lord Provost Donald Wilson will first host a celebratory reception at the Lothian Chambers.
This event will be followed by a public victory parade, which will see team members board an open-top bus at 3.30pm and travel from the High Street to Leith, culminating at Leith Links.

Hide AdThe route of the parade is: Lawnmarket – High Street – North Bridge – Princes St – Leith St – Picardy Place – Leith Walk – Constitution Street – Queen Charlotte St – John’s Place – Duncan Place – Leith Links

“Many congratulations to Hibs for bringing the Scottish Cup home. No matter what colour scarf you wear or where you live, I’m sure all football fans in the city will recognise this is a time for celebration. I think it’s fair to say the weather forecast is for sunshine on Leith this Sunday.”

Hide AdPlans for the parade were discussed and have been jointly approved by the Council, Police Scotland, emergency services, Hibernian Football Club and Lothian Buses. It is anticipated that there will be a degree of disruption to traffic while the event is ongoing, however every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum
