Hibs are likely to make a decision this week on whether or not to cut Rangers' ticket allocation for what could be a last-day-of-the-season shoot-out for a Europa League berth.

Celtic, Rangers and Hearts are traditionally allocated the entire South Stand, and the Parkhead side will be given their full quota for this weekend’s match.

The Edinburgh club explained that they will make a call this week on whether they will reduce the allocation of the Ibrox side – currently three points above them in the Premiership – in order to accommodate more home fans, depending on how quickly the uptake is among Hibs supporters this week.

“Given the lack of time given to plan arrangements and sell tickets, Celtic will occupy the full South Stand,” read a ticket update on Hibs’ website.

“A decision will be made on splitting the South Stand for the Kilmarnock and Rangers game based on demand and sales in the coming week.”
