Hibs to freeze season-ticket prices for 2016/17 campaign

Hibs will freeze season-ticket prices for the 2016/17 campaign, regardless of what division they are playing in.

The Easter Road outfit are expected to announce details of their season-ticket packages for next term later today and the club’s board have decided to keep prices the same as this season.

It means that if Hibs achieve promotion from the SPFL Championship, then supporters will not pay an increase to watch Premiership football.

The cheapest seat in Easter Road for adults will be £335, while the most expensive will be £380. Children under the age of 11 and over-65s will be able to watch the Hibees for as little as £25 and £130 respectively, while the cheapest youth (12-17 years) and student ticket is £85.

There will also be an “early bird” offer for fans, who will get a discount on their season ticket if they buy before April 8. The club is also expected to implement an 11-month payment plan for supporters to spread the cost of the ticket.

Hibs chief executive Leeann Dempster said: “Season ticket holders are vital to the success of this football club – quite simply the more season ticket holders we have the stronger our playing squad will be.

“We enjoyed growth in season ticket numbers this year, and we look forward to more supporters joining us in 2016-17.”
