The pundits have been out in force discussing who will take over from David Gray and become the next Hibs manager.
Predictions and suggestions are being cast after the club icon was sacked following a midweek loss to Kilmarnock in the Premiership. John Potter is the interim head coach and guided Hibs to a 1-1 draw against Aberdeen on Saturday.
Steve Clarke has been touted after leaving his Scotland head coach post while a controversial move for a former Hearts boss has been given a thumbs up in some quarters. Others have asserted whether or not the Leith-based side could go foreign, return to a familiar face, and what the style of play under a new gaffer may look like. Here are the opinions of 13 pundits when it comes to the next Hibs manager.

1. Scott Allan (BBC)
“I'm more of the sense, are they capable of going and finding someone like an Askou or Vrancken? That's where my head is. Are they capable of finding someone? That's where I'm really intrigued to see what type of route they go down here. Look around the league, is there anybody I would take? Probably not, if I'm being honest, if I'm looking domestically. I think they need to go and pluck someone from somewhere who is a really good CV and see where Hibs go.”

2. Ryan Jack (Go)
“I think first and foremost, the Hibs' job is an attractive job. So I'm sure they won't be short of candidates and people applying to obviously get in the door.”

3. Andy Halliday (Open Goal)
"I'm not surprised but I thought David Gray would have been given this weekend. It can't be Steve Clarke. He doesn't play attacking football and David Gray is getting caned for not playing attacking football. I hope it's someone we don't know or I wouldn't mind it being Neil Lennon for the podcast! That would be decent." | SNS Group

4. Kevin Kyle (Go Radio)
“Former Hibs player, I can totally see the sentiment, but I don't think, and this is my honest opinion, I don't think Scott Brown's done enough as a manager to merit getting the Hibernian job. For me, there's no real frontrunners that come to the top of my mind. The only person I can think of, Steve Clarke. Steve Clarke potentially, he's obviously not the Scotland manager anymore, but he's obviously, I would imagine, looking maybe for a route into club football.” | SNS Group
