The current Hibs squad is looking in great shape at the moment. The additions of Chris Cadden and Jackson Irvine in the January transfer window have really taken play up a notch and given some quality depth to a side that badly lacked it earlier in the campaign.
However, things move fast in football and the squad could look very differently come the summer when a few key players, including Irvine himself, come to the end of their deals, while there’s also likely to be returning interest in the likes of Kevin Nisbet and Ryan Porteous.
Thankfully, with the ongoing financial uncertainty due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there are a number of talented players currently plying their trade in the Scottish top flight who are still available to snap up on a free transfer this summer if Hibs need to replenish their stock.
These are just a handful of those...

. Greg Kiltie (Kilmarnock)
Hibs were previously heavily linked with the Killie playmaker. Even though his team have had a very rough season, Kiltie has shown at points he's still a dangerous top-flight calibre attacker. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

5. Greg Stewart (Rangers)
Scott Allan's return to health would probably negate the need for another No.10 (with Jamie Murphy already at the club) but if not Stewart is the best option in the SPFL market. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

6. Jake Doyle-Hayes (St Mirren)
The Paisley side are almost unbeatable when the Irish tempo-setter plays at the base of midfield. If Hibs need to restock the centre of the park this summer he would be an excellent addition. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

7. Devante Cole (Motherwell)
The best option if Hibs are looking to recruit a striker. The son of Andy Cole, Devante has all the attributes to succeed at this level. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

8. Declan Gallagher (Motherwell)
Keen on a move to Celtic but it remains to be seen if the reigning champions are still interested. Probably a better option than Guthrie for Hibs as he's a better footballer. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
