Here is a selection of views from social media.

Peter Jamieson (@peter171161): Utter disgrace that performance we could be going into a semi on the back of 4 straight defeats

Sean Purves (@purv1875): Need to get a grip before a season that has promised so much falls to bits.

Scott Mixter: Seems to be a case of the Jim Duffy season all over again! Really hope I’m wrong but can’t say I’ve ever felt confident or comfortable this season, even when we were 2nd! Just feel this squad is to fragile

Monty1875 (@CraigMo52330997): Normally very positive but that was a disgrace today. Only doing and gullan get pass marks. Negative fitba is only slightly acceptable when you are winning. Ross is a semi final loss from losing the fans he has left on his side.

RiversideRudeBoy68 (@RiversideBoy68): No heart, no guile, no energy, just awful. Joke to award anyone man of the match there.

Chris Keir (@ckeir85): No depth in the squad to change anything when it’s not going right. Windows open, Get the cheque book out pronto Ron.

Keith Robertson (@KeithARobertson): I said at the start of the season 5th would be our best possible finish, and all the results since Dundee Utd at home are why that will be. A splash in the transfer market is a must

Alan Ainslie: An absolute disgrace and embarrassment. A lot of those out there don’t deserve to wear the shirt with the way they are performing. BIG changes needed before next game and time for Mr Gordon to get some signings authorised in January.

Ron Wood: This is a bad run of form against teams we'd hope to beat, especially at home. This is a test of whether Ross should keep the job or not. He needs to address this quickly and hopefully we can be back on form for the league Cup semi.

Greg Moisés: Top 4 is an expectation, not an achievement. Losing to a 2nd tier Hearts, Ross County and Livingston is inexcusable.
