FT: Celtic 3 - 1 Hibs

A difficult second half from Hibs as Celtic hit twice.

Hibs went close on a couple of occasions but didn’t have much control.

SUB: Jamie Gullan OFF, Ryan Shanley ON

A Griffiths corner bounces to the back post where Klimala heads in.

Leigh Griffiths sees a shot turned around the post by Dabrowski following a swift counter-attack.

Hibs nearly strike back straight away. Horgan runs in behind but his shot is blocked and sent over the bar by Hazard.

Dembele robs Murray 30 yards out and feed Griffiths. The ex-Hibs striker dances past Jackson and clips the ball over Dabrowski only for Klimala to knock the ball over the line.

Great play from Hibs

A quick Hibs break saw Mallanset Gullan free. In turn he played in Horgan. Just when it seemed the chance had gone, the Irishman spotted the run of Doig. The wide man’s shot was diverted out for a corner.

Dabrowski denies Ntcham

Ntcham turns at the edge of the box to create space for a long-range shot.

Dabrowski, however, is equal to it as he springs to his left to push it away.

SUB: Hallberg OFF, Innes Murray ON

Gullan passes up a good opportunity

Jamie Gullan could have done better for Hibs.

Good work down the right saw Murray find the forward in the box, but instead of taking it early he tried to work it onto his left only for Soro to intercept.

Hibs’ danger is on the break

The possession spells they had in the first half have not been as regualr in the second for Hibs.

The Easter Road side’s danger is now on the break, especially through Horgan.

Fantastic improvisation

Dabrowski makes a crucial intervention to deny Leigh Griffiths.

Ball clipped over the top, the keeper rushes out and has to improvise as the ball skips up and heads it away.

Griffiths replaces Henderson

After more direct Horgan play, he rolled the ball to Murray but the midfielder’s swerving shot is tipped over.

Hanlon’s header from the corner is held by Hazard.

After a fine block from Adam Jackson to deny Klimala, the Polish striker hit the post with a header from the corner.
