'Don't underestimate them like Hearts did' 'Perfect opportunity to win the cup': Hibs fans react to Alloa Betfred Cup quarter final draw

After revelling in the misery of their rivals, the risk of a repeat is now at last a consideration for the green and white half of Edinburgh – not that many will countenace such a happening.

Jack Ross is going back to his old club, and some are hoping the schadenfreude doesn’t come back to haunt the Hibees. However there’s a cautious optimism in the air around Easter Road right now, and that’s reflected on the social media reaction to this evening’s draw which sends Hibs to Recreation Park in the middle of next month for a midweek quarter final.
