Former Hibs goalkeeper Matt Macey struggles on full debut as Luton Town crash out of Carabao Cup
Former Hibs goalkeeper Matt Macey had a debut to forget for Luton Town as the Championship side crashed out of the Carabao Cup to Newport County.
The hosts twice led at Kenilworth Road but ultimately went down 3-2 to the League Two club.
Macey was making his full debut after his maiden bow came as a substitute at the weekend, replacing Ethan Horvath in the 84th minute in a 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Hide AdTwo minutes after Tom Lockyer had given Luton a 2-1 lead in their First Round tie, Macey looked culpable in failing to stop Chanka Zimba from inside the penalty box.
If there was any debate to be had over that goal, there was no doubting his culpability for the winner in the 76th minute as he could only parry a routine shot into the path of James Tyler Waite to score from close range.
Macey moved to Luton from Easter Road this summer for an undisclosed fee.
