Former Hibs midfielder Mark Milligan retires from international football with Australia


Former Hibs midfielder Mark Milligan has announced his retirement from international football with Australia.
The 34-year-old from New South Wales has decided to call time on his Socceroos career after winning 80 caps for his country.

Hide AdMilligan, who spent the whole of last season at Hibs before being released from his two-year deal by then head coach Paul Heckingbottom, captained Australia on several occasions and represented them in four World Cups.
The former Melbourne Victory and JEF United player is now at Southend United in England’s League One following his release by Hibs in the summer.
Australia’s Football Federation tweeted: “After earning 80 caps for Australia, Mark Milligan has officially announced his retirement from international football. #ThanksMillsy.”
