Hampden date set for Hibs' Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Dundee United

A date and time has been set for Hibs’ Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Dundee United.

The last four tie at Hampden Park will take place on Saturday, May 8 with a 4pm kick-off and will be broadcast live on subscription channel Premier Sports.

The game is a repeat of the 2016 semi-final which Hibs won via a penalty shoot-out after a goalless draw, en route to winning the final against Rangers to claim the cup for the first time in 114 years.

Jack Ross’ side are undefeated against the Tangerines this season, having won twice on Tayside and drawn the Easter Road fixture 1-1 in December.

The other semi-final encounter between St Mirren and St Johnstone takes place the following day, Sunday, May 9, with a 2.15pm start and will be shown on both BBC One Scotland and Premier Sports.

The Scottish Cup final is scheduled for Saturday, May 22.
