Jack Ross made eight changes to his side in a bid to rest some of his key men ahead of next week and the alternative team put in a strong showing.

Substitute Jackson Irvine had the best chance of a goal, seeing a close-range effort deflected over the bar late on, while Ofir Marciano kept a clean sheet in his final game.

Key Events

  • Fringe players set for runout
  • Celtic haven’t won a league game at Easter Road since 2014

Free kick Celtic around 25 yards out. Turnbull, Edouard, and Christie all looking interested

Edouard has it in the net but Collum has blown his whistle. He’s not happy with the shenanigans in the wall. Take two... straight into the wall. Kenny then sends it out of play with an overhit cross

Hallberg looking to run in on goal but the auxiliary centre-forward is ruled offside

Gogic does well to thwart Edouard after some nice play from the visitors

Porteous this time bring a promising move to an end by blocking off Christie. Celtic enjoying the bulk of possession at the moment - Hibs need to work out how to get the ball to Hallberg and Wright and create chances.

Marciano with a low save at his near post after a deflected effort.

Strange decision by Collum as Wright surges into the box and it looks to hit Ajer’s hand, Hibs claim for the penalty but the referee gives a free kick to the visitors. Hibs not happy.

McGregor rampages forward, like a rhino on the charge, his through ball to Hallberg is sublime but the Swede is offside.

Drey Wright with a sight of goal but his effort clears the bar and nearly ends up in the top tier of the South Stand.

Goalless at the break
