Hibs 2-0 Aberdeen recap: Boyle brace secures huge win for Hibees against Dons
Hibs strengthened their grip on third place in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Easter Road.
Martin Boyle scored a first-half penalty, and doubled his and Hibs’ tally in the second period.
Aberdeen had Joe Lewis to thank for keeping them in it, as the ‘keeper denied Chris Cadden, Boyle twice, and Doidge.
Hibs are now five points clear of Aberdeen in third place going into next week’s match against Ross County.
