Hibs had taken an early lead at Easter Road through Stevie Mallan’s long-range goal after 10 minutes, but Christie Elliott levelled the score 20 minutes from time.

The hosts hit back immediately with Jordan McGhee bundling the ball into his own net under pressure from Kevin Nisbet, before close-range efforts from substitutes Jamie Gullan and Melker Hallberg put the gloss on the victory for Jack Ross’ side.
