Hibs 'agree fee' for Paul McGinn with St Mirren

Hibs have agreed a fee with St Mirren for the transfer of full-back Paul McGinn, according to reports.

The 29-year-old will now undergo a medical and providing there are no issues, he will join the Easter Road club on a permanent deal.

McGinn is the older brother of John, who played for Hibs for three seasons before joining Aston Villa.

Although primarily a right-back, McGinn can also operate in other defensive positions and will compensate for the loss of long-term injury victims Jason Naismith and Ryan Porteous.

Hibs take on St Mirren in the Premiership on Saturday and Hibs hope to have him signed in time for that match.
