Before moving to Portugal English had played for Mississippi State, and sent two years with San Diego State.

She played 18 times for the Bulldogs in 2019, conceding 31 goals and keeping four clean sheets as the team won seven, lost six, and drew three.

The current SWPL season is suspended until at least midight on February 14 but with the third and fourth tiers of the SPFL continuing to be on pause, as well as lower-league football, there are fears the campaign's suspension could be extended.

The 24-year-old is expected to join up with Hibs in the summer on the expiry of her contract with the 11-time title winners.
