Jack Ross’ side were due to travel to Dens Park for the clash on Saturday, August 21, but the game will now take place the following day with a 12pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports.

It will be the team's third fixture of the league campaign, having opened the season against Motherwell at Fir Park then a home game with Ross County.

The Dundee fixture would have had to be moved anyway if Hibs reach the Uefa Conference League qualifying play-off round.

The team return to pre-season training on Monday with tests taking place tomorrow (Saturday) when the squad will be put through their paces with a 1,000m run, jump tests and more.

Hibs’ first competitive fixture is on July 22 when they face the winners of the match between Mons Calpe and FC Santa Coloma.

Arsenal come to Easter Road on Tuesday, July 13 for a friendly.
