Hibs defender Kos Sadiki has joined League of Ireland side Finn Harps on loan for the 2020 season.

The 21-year-old has appeared in two pre-season friendlies as well as taking part in training sessions with the Donegal-based side and is likely to get regular gametime under Harps boss Ollie Horgan. The Ballybofey outfit held onto their top-flight status last season by winning the relegation play-off.

Easter Road Sporting Director Graeme Mathie said: “We are delighted to confirm this loan move.

“Our loan strategy has been a key part of our player development programme for some time and we are now exploring opportunities for our players to move to other countries in order to gain different experiences and challenges.

“I’ve been really impressed with Finn Harps in my interactions with their manager and their secretary. The League of Ireland Premier Division is a good standard for Kosovar to play in for the season.

“I hope he is the first of many of our young players to embrace cross-border loan opportunities and our staff will be keeping in touch with him regularly over the months ahead to make sure he is training and playing at the standard we expect of our young players.”

Sadiki appeared for Hibs during their pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2019/20 season and is a regular for the club's development team.
