SPFL rules state that players will incur a one-game ban if they pick up six bookings, with the ban extended by one for every additional six yellow cards.

If McGinn is booked during Hibs’ home match with Celtic on November 21 he will miss the trip to Motherwell on December 5 but be free to face St Johnstone on November 24.

Hanlon is just two bookings away from suspension having been shown the yellow card on four occasions so far.

Joe Newell has three bookings, while Ryan Porteous has two. Scott Allan, Martin Boyle, Alex Gogic, and Stevie Mallan have one each.
