Hibs are gearing up for Europe after a fifth placed Premiership finish.
The Hibees have had two stable years under head coach David Gray and they will contest the Conference League second round qualifiers in July. Their retained list was also quiet with the only senior exit being Elie Youan, coming after Martin Boyle’s U-turn, opting to stay in Leith after originally announcing his exit.
Transfer business will come in the weeks and months ahead prior to the new campaign kicking off. Looking at 24 stars, their contract lengths and statuses in the squad, we assess how Hibs are shaping up ahead of what’s bound to be a busy summer.

25. Verdict
It'll be a busy enough summer at Hibs but perhaps not as frantic as fans have come to expect in recent times. David Gray has brought stability and that is reflected in the squad. If Hibs were to start next term with this core, then they'd look in decent shape, albeit they'll look to strengthen regardless. A good combination of experience, sellable assets and various elements across each position proves Hibs have the talent to challenge for cups and at the right end of the league. Consistency they didn't have in term 25/26 will be sought. In terms of where they'll sign, centre-back cover might be needed depending how bad Bushiri's injury is. An additional forward option or two wouldn't go amiss either with an extra player in midfield unless MacIntyre is being handed a chance. Contracts need looked at too with several expiring in 2027. | SNS Group
