Alongside Boyle in the team of the week was Joe Newell, who was rated as the fifth-best player from the weekend’s action.

The Englishman was part of Jack Ross’ midfield three and had the strongest influence according to WhoScored.

The Easter Road side are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Livingston whose Tony Macaroni Arena is one of the hardest places to get a win.
