Hibs duo Kyle Magennis and Ryan Porteous named in Scotland Under-21 squad as Aaron Hickey finally gets call-up

Hibs pair Kyle Magennis and Ryan Porteous have been called up to the Scotland Under-21 squad for next month’s Euro Under-21 qualifiers against Croatia and Greece.

Former Hearts defender Aaron Hickey, now at Bologna, has also been called up.

Porteous, who was added to the Scotland senior squad for the recent triple-header, has been an ever-present for the Easter Road side on league duty this season while Magennis got minutes in green and white during the Betfred Cup group matches.

Hickey was capped three times at Under-17 level but this is his first call-up to the Under-21 squad.

The Scots take on Croatia at Tynecastle on Thursday November 12 and Greece in Athens on Tuesday November 17.
