Gordon Clark: “Saddens me to say but it was men against boys and l don’t know who or what we can do to compete with Hearts next week. Big week for Maloney and his “management” team to come up with something different to elevate our performance.”

Jimmy Davis: “More fight from my 6-month-old bairn when I change his nappy. Next week could be a laugh but it’s a day out after all.”

William Crawford: “No imagination, no fight and it's simply not good enough. Despite all those new signings we're probably worse than what we were to begin with. I hate to say it but Maloney isn’t up to the job and if the board cant see that then we're in serious trouble.”

Stevie Laing: “Shaun Maloney is the worst Hibs Manager since Terry Butcher.”

Dominic Crolla: “Maloney says they were seventh when he arrived at the club. So what’s he saying by that statement? So it’s acceptable? The truth is he a coach at best but never a manager. Bad gamble by the CEO of Hibs! He should go also.”

Stephen Lennon: “He's another in a long line of bad appointments. When I listen to his interviews he doesn't inspire me one bit, flat boring interviews, just like his team. Out of his depth.”Steven McKenzie: “We’re an awful side. I wouldn’t be bothered if any of that team left. We’ve wasted money on Mueller, who looks lost. Joe Newell has conned some of our support into thinking he’s a player, when he’s actually rank. Rest of the players are between mediocre and dreadful. The club is run by an impostor, recruitment team is a shambles, manager is out his depth.”

Phil Thomson: “Shaun Maloney isn't the problem, it's [Ron] Gordon. He's slowly dragging our club down with poor decisions and a very poor management structure. Maloney is just another poor call. He's removed so many good people that know what Hibs are about and put money-grabbing idiots in their place who don't have a clue. Gordon should sell the club to someone that knows what he's doing and takes the club and supporters in to account. We also need to sack Maloney now and get an experienced manager in place for the start of next season as we have no chance of winning next week either.”

Jim Quinn: “Directors are totally to blame. We ended up being 3rd in the league last term, but didn’t invest in the team. The supporters where all crying out to improve in player positions, but yet again let down, thinking it’s all going to be OK. Get a grips Hibs.”

@Strong_Op_Hibs: “People still blaming Jack Ross need to stop. Maloney has been backed more than Ross ever was. Maloney has played poor football for months and failed to pick up results. He’s brought in a lot of his own players too. His subs are woeful and tactics very poor too.”

@SGMilne: “Hibs - like a few clubs - are doing badly because they have a manager who has been coached to believe the only way to play is like a top European side, but he doesn’t have the players to make that work.”

@HibsNews1875: “Massive clear out needed and I’m not sure Maloney will get the chance to do that if we get beat next weekend. His interviews are often wide of the mark, tactics are poor, substitutions are bizarre. Bushiri needed hooked after 20 mins. Scott as our striker at 3-1 down?”

@LochendHibbie: “In my opinion, only Clarke looked like he was hurting when things never came off. No one showed any heart. Too many people retreated instead of being brave. No leaders driving others in the team on.”
