Hibs Ladies have made their first signing ahead of the 2020 season with the acqusition of Carla Boyce.

The 21-year-old striker joins from Rangers, having come up through the ranks at Glasgow City and spent time in Scotland's youth teams.

Speaking to Hibs' official website, Boyce said: “I’m delighted to sign for Hibernian Ladies. The team have done so well in the past and I’m grateful for this opportunity.

“Hibernian have been so successful over a number of seasons now, domestically and playing in the Champions League, and that obviously played a big part in my decision to sign.

“On top of that, I look at players like Joelle Murray and Rachael Boyle in the squad. They’re two experienced players who I know I can learn a lot from to help my own development.”

Hibs Ladies open the 2020 season with a home tie against Spartans on 23 February before travelling to Motherwell on 15 March. They then host Rangers on 22 March before facing Glasgow City away and Celtic at home in April.

The first derby of the season is scheduled for 3 May, with Hibs at home.

Kick-off times for all fixtures are set for 2pm.
